After Fight Plans with Takao and Misaki!

Whew!  This took longer than I wanted it to, but it's finally complete!  From this WIP   comes this completed scene!  For this one, we have the mismatched pair of Aoki Misaki and "Fast Forward" Kongou Takao in the dressing room after their afternoon fights have concluded.  Misaki seems a bit irritated, to put things mildly... Not because Yukinoshita Jura isn't with her this time (Kanata "borrowed" her for that afternoon to help out at the café), but because she isn't as familiar with her afternoon fight partner and her occasional tendency to forget to "freshen up" after a long in-ring bout.  ^^Of note, I am aware that Kanata won the last poll regarding who to see in a normal outfit - and you'll see her soon enough - but Kongou Takao beat her to it as this was already in production at the time of the poll. XD Sorry 'bout that, everyone! 

*Ahem* On with the scene....

The Nippon Budokan Arena – a famed arena for entertainment and sports of all kinds in Tokyo, Japan.  This afternoon, there was a major boxing card with several high profile ranking matches on the docket for the fans to witness.

Among the afternoon’s competitors were two ladies who traveled together as a rather mismatched pair.  One would have her bout early on in the card while the other would have hers near the end of the event.  Kongou Takao and Aoki Misaki were the fighting ladies in question on this afternoon.  Takao was quite pumped for her bout against a tough American woman from Catskill, NY.  Misaki felt anxious and fidgety all afternoon long waiting for her bout against Amano Mina, a recent pro from Kagoshima.  It wasn’t because she was nervous about fighting her.  Rather, it was because a certain someone wasn’t able to accompany her to the venue today.

Because Yukinoshita Jura was scheduled to fight the following week, and because there’d be a large crowd at the Boxing Glove Bakery & Café, Takizawa Kanata asked if she’d be available to fill in for a sick barista girl that afternoon. Misaki was the one who encouraged Jura to go ahead and cover the busy shift, as it would mean that she’d be able to see her after the fight in a very good looking one-piece swimsuit.  Win or lose, that sight would be worth her every effort today inside the squared circle.

Kongou Takao’s bout was every bit the tough, brutal fight she thought it would be.  Her American counterpart was a ferocious puncher that put a lot of pressure on her early on in the match, tagging her with several power punches in rounds 3 and 5 that staggered the tough Japanese woman.  Takao clawed back from a knockdown in the 4^th round to dominate the American strongly in the 5^th, spectacularly knocking her almost off of her feet and down to the canvas with a huge roar from the crowds.

The American was able to recuperate and return that favour with a hard, dominating knockdown in the 8^th round by hammering away at Takao in the corner.  Takao’s tumble was quite a thud, but she made it up by the 8-count, recovered enough to cleverly shuffle away from a charging American whom found herself in the corner she had previously dominated Takao in.

By the end of 12 rounds, both ladies were battered, but with nothing solved between the two.  The judges had ruled the bout a majority draw, one that certainly delighted the capacity crowd.  Takao had plenty of time to get checked out and worked on by her trainer Daimori Teruko and the attendant physicians, giving her a clean bill of health in the dressing rooms.

Aoki Misaki wasn’t about to let her match drag on like Takao’s.  She was impatient to move on and get to the Boxing Glove so she could reunite with her beloved Chibi Tatsumaki and get a wonderful eyeful of her serving up a really good coffee brew to her in a swimsuit.  Important as her ranking match was, she never likes to be very far from her significant other.

That’s why she swarmed Amano from the get-go and scored a rather dominant TKO in round 3 after literally trapping her in her own corner for the last 35 seconds of the round. 

Victory in hand, she quickly soaked in the adoration from the crowd and then made for the dressing room to get checked over and ready to give her cat-like eyes a wonderful feast at the Boxing Glove.

“Hah, finally ready to get going!” Misaki hummed after taking in a hot shower and getting dressed in street clothing once again. 

I'm Gonna see Ju-sama in a swimsuit!  I'm gonna see Ju-sama in a swimsuit!  

“Ah.  IsthatyouAoki-chan?” Takao addressed Misaki from her locker.

Takao had her back toward Misaki at that moment as she got her high heels on her feet.  She’d taken a really long, soaking bath and massage after her difficult fight earlier on.

“Haaaii, I’m here! You’re ready to get going?  You had a really tough fight today!  Omedetou, Takao-san.  That wasn’t easy to get a draw, ne?”  Misaki replied.

Takao still had her back towards Misaki as she quickly stuffed her duffel bag with her fighting gear. Her denim skirt really accented her firm, very athletic figure, as did her rather form fitting yellow with red trim top.

“Doumo!  I’m kind of gladthatIwasbornwithsuchathick set of bones everywhere.  That girl was a hard one to fight.  Youdidn’twasteanytime out there did you, Aoki-chan?”  Takao responded.

Misaki beamed with pride with a huge grin and a blush on her visage.

“MM-HMM!  Moving on up in the rankings, and I know Ju-sama was watching!  I can’t wait to see her at the café! Ju-sama in a swimsuit, serving a Mocha-” 

Takao finally slung her duffel bag over her shoulder and turned on her heel to face Misaki and get moving toward the Boxing Glove across town.  She looked gorgeous and feminine in normal clothing, but something stopped Misaki’s boasting dead in her tracks the moment her eyes met with the Flashdance boxer.

“A-ANO…. You know you had a tough fight, right?” Misaki stammered.

Takao nodded cheerfully.

“Un!  Wasn’t it grand?  Toughbrutalfightsareamazing workouts, and really satisfy me!  Fighting back to a draw really made me feel alive.  Let’s get going and cele—“ Takao’s open thought was cut off.

“But… Demo!” Misaki pointed at Takao’s face.

“You can’t go out there like that!”

Takao waved off Misaki’s concerns.

“NoproblemNoproblemAoki-chan! The ring doctors gavemeacleanbillofhealth, so I’m fine for some relaxation and watching more boxing at—“

“People will think your boyfriend beat you up!!” Misaki protested. 

Takao tilted her head, a little puzzled, feeling her own face with her fingers.  She’s still stunning, but it’s obvious that she’d been in a doozy of a battle.

“Eto… I don’t have a boyfreind, though,” she replied with a snicker. 

That didn’t leave Misaki at ease. Takao’s been known to be in some gruelling, brutal encounters that really showed afterward.  The bruising on her face here were not nearly as bad as some other fights she'd been in.

“People… People will think you were in a fight or something!”

Takao smiled, taking a few enthusiastic steps toward the door.

“But I was in a fight.  At least if anybodyasksIcansaythatIfought back and almost won, right?” Takao’s fast-forwarded voice replied.

Misaki was speechless for a moment. 

W-Well, she’s got me there… 

She shook her head as she watched Takao make for the door.

“W-Wait up!  That wasn’t the point, Takao-san!  Aren’t you forgetting to put on some–” 

“Hai, haaaii!  C’monc’monc’mon!  We’ll never get a good seat if we don’t hurry up, Misaki-san!”  The Flashdance Boxer replied, putting on a slim pair of sunglasses.

Takao’s stride was feminine and strong, almost leaving Misaki behind with her protests.  Misaki began following her out of the dressing room, continuing in vain to convince her acquaintance to remember to do something.

“T-Takao-san!!  Makeup!  Makeup!  Ne, Taka-san!”

They both had a relaxing time at the Boxing Glove later on.  Misaki enjoyed her favourite sweets by her beloved Jura, dressed in a swimsuit that made her the talk of the café by the patrons.  Jura was indeed a pleased girl, hearing about Misaki’s quick work in the ring.

Takao certainly made for a lot of talk and scrums, with the café staff asking her all about her brutal fight with a strong gaijin, her battle wear plainly visible for all to see, yet still looking gorgeous.

The looks they got on the train ride over to the café… Well, there weren’t any dull conversations with fellow passengers from beginning to end.
